The Midland RockHounds are currently looking to hire a Video Production Assistant. This person will be involved in the Entertainment/Video Production for the Midland RockHounds and Midland/Odessa Sockers FC. This is a full-time paid internship ($1400/month) with a possibility to develop into a permanent position in the organization.
This person must be available for 70 RockHounds and 7-10 Sockers games with the ability to work flexible hours through February/March-September. We are looking for someone with a passion for baseball and who is a positive, hard- working team player. Experience in Adobe CC specifically Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects is a must. Knowledge of baseball is a requirement. Knowledge of camera/production equipment is recommended. Will be trained if needed.
This person will report primarily to the Director of Video Production and Entertainment as well as involvement with the Community Relations Director and Media Coordinator.
– Shooting and editing videos (player highlights/park promotions/mascot videos etc.) – Creating graphics, GIF’s, and animations
– Video board programming
– Game-day operations:
– Camera Operator
– Technical Director
– Video Board Operator
– Operating music
– Instant Replay Operator
-Special Projects: This includes video work that is done on non-game day productions as well: Concerts, in- house videos, community appearances and other video work that may be needed.
