Intern with Kentuck Art Center, a nationally-recognized, nonprofit arts organization located 10 minutes from the University of Alabama. Kentuck has a 52-year history as one of Alabama’s premiere art centers and is known internationally for the Kentuck Festival of the Arts. Kentuck Art Center is searching for a Creative Media & Marketing Intern with a strong creative background, excellent writing skills, social media proficiency, and who enjoys working with the public.
Job Description:
This position will report to the Marketing Manager but will also work closely with the Executive Director, Deputy Director, Program Director, and the Gallery Shop Manager. In this position you are responsible for helping develop, implement, and measure strategic integrated marketing campaigns. Creating media for physical mailouts, email newsletters, press releases, and social media communications will be the majority of your work. You will utilize public relations, advertising, brand management, and design together to work with the Marketing Manager to form a cohesive marketing communications campaign.
