Lake Homes Realty is the nation’s largest lake-based real estate company in the nation serving 34 states. We are seeking Marketing Interns who are full of creative ideas and are eager to contribute on a large scale. The interns will gain visibility into the inner workings and aspects of the public relations field, provide concrete deliverables and learn from top to bottom. When the internship is completed, you will have real-world experience for a national company, have created a variety of portfolio samples, and receive references from nationally known
marketing executives.
- The internship start date is May 15th and ends on August 4th
- Schedules are customized to each student dependent on Summer classes
- Interns can work up to 32 hours a week, with a ‘full’ schedule being 8-5 Monday
through Thursday
- This is an in-person internship that will be in our new office on Highway 280
- This is a paid internship that is $13/hour
- This is a very writing-heavy internship
- Interns will be required to provide their own laptop for all tasks
Responsibilities:
- Fully support the company’s Marketing and PR strategies while
executing them in different phases.
- Create and curate engaging content for the company website with
an emphasis on realtor bios and lake descriptions across the country.
- Provide SEO-optimized content for multiple sites
- Communicate and build relationships within the Marketing
department.
- Build and update media lists and databases. Write media releases.
- Assist various areas within the Marketing Departments such as social
media, newsletters and digital marketing.
Requirements:
- Strong desire to learn, along with a professional drive
- Solid understanding of the different social networks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Efficiency at MS Office and/or Google Docs
- Passion for the PR industry and its best practices
- Current enrollment in a related BS or Master’s
university/college
