Your Career

We currently have an opportunity in our Northport, Alabama office for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Marketing Co-Op/Intern in the Communications Department.

As our ideal candidate you are a self-starter, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering the highest level of customer service and professionalism at all times. This role will assist the Director, Corporate Communication in the implementation of the strategic marketing plan, including data analysis, general website maintenance, and the management of marketing materials.

This is an hourly internship position ($15/hour), open to Juniors or Seniors. Opportunity for continued employment after internship period.

Your Impact

  • Gather and analyze Marketing and Sales data from multiple sources, including Salesforce and Google Analytics, and prepare reports.
  • Develop and run programmatic advertising for overall company marketing, as well as for recruitment.
  • Assist with tradeshow and events planning.
  • Ensure marketing materials (literature, promotional items, etc.) are organized and inventory levels are adequate; and ensure timely shipment when requested.
  • Update and maintain website content, with special attention to SEO.
  • Participate in department meetings, committees, or other programs as required.
  • Assist in the coordination of professional photo and video shoots, including sourcing and scheduling new vendors.
  • Help track and manage budget; including reconciling budget items with Accounting, tracking YTD spend by category, and coordinating payment of invoices with Accounting.
  • Assist in on-going maintenance of CPQ system, including updates to pricing and adding new products/options.
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested.

 Your Experience

  • Pursuing a post-secondary or postgraduate diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration, preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
