Matthew Barrett – Academic Advisor – News Media
Matthew Barrett graduated with a B.S. in mass communications with a concentration in public relations from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from The University of Alabama. His previous experience in the communication field helps him connect with C&IS students. You will always find Matthew with a cup of coffee (usually iced) in hand, at work or at home. When he’s not assisting students on campus, Matthew enjoys traveling, trying new coffee shops, going to country music concerts and spending time at his little home on 7 acres with his wife, Madison.
