Whether you’re on campus or across the globe, you’re an important part of C&IS. No matter how you’re living your story, the Capstone Communication Society is your way to stay involved with the College of Communication and Information Sciences and be in-the-know about College happenings.

With a gift to the Capstone Communication Society of $100 or more, you will stay connected with C&IS through invitations to on-campus events, a subscription to our monthly e-newsletter and Communicator, our annual magazine. You will be the first to know about opportunities to network with other C&IS alumni, parents and friends throughout the country.

Your donation to the Capstone Communication Society will help fund student scholarships and learning opportunities for C&IS students.

Communicator Magazine

Communicator is published by the Capstone Communication Society and The University of Alabama’s College of Communication and Information Sciences. Its purpose is to keep alumni and supporters informed about the programs, services and activities of the College, as well as developments in the fields of communication and information.

Our latest issue features stories about two C&IS faculty members who developed an NPR podcast that led to the solving of a 50-year-old cold case in Selma, AL, two internship programs in Tuscaloosa available for students interested in live entertainment production, and the ways our students are prepared for corporate activism in the world of advertising and public relations.
