Anna Embree is a professor and Book Arts Coordinator whose work bridges studio practice, craft scholarship, and material inquiry. Her creative and scholarly interests center on the physical and structural qualities of the book as object, with particular attention to the tactile and material dimensions of book structures. 

Embree has collaborated with printers and papermakers to produce limited-edition handmade books, emphasizing the relationship between concept, form, and craftsmanship. Her work has been widely exhibited, reflecting her active engagement in the contemporary book arts community.

Through her collaborations and exhibitions, Embreecontributes to national conversations in book arts and fine press practice. Her work highlights the continued relevance of hand processes, material experimentation, and structural innovation within both artistic and scholarly contexts.
