For more than 25 years, Keelie Segars has helped organizations transform challenges into communication focused solutions. Her expertise lies in integrated marketing communications, brand strategy, audience insights, and campaign development, with a focus on how research and collaboration come together to build brands that connect with people and deliver measurable results.
Drawing on decades of agency leadership, Segars approaches communication through a practical lens, exploring how strategies are developed with real-world clients. Her award-winning work includes campaigns recognized by the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and projects for brands such as Mohawk Flooring, Char-Broil, Krispy Kreme and Go Build Alabama.
Impact Beyond the University
Throughout her career, Segars has led campaigns for national brands, state agencies and nonprofit organizations while serving in leadership roles. She has contributed her talent by working with organizations such as Red Mountain Theatre, Magic City Art Connection and the Alabama Waldorf School. She has participated in national leadership forums hosted by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As).

Mentorship has been a defining thread throughout Segars’ career.
