About

Mike Little is a senior instructor dedicated to introducing students to the field of advertising and public relations and helping them discover their place within it. In recent years, he has focused primarily on foundational courses, working to engage students early in their academic journey and spark enthusiasm for careers in APR.

Little is committed to helping students build confidence, explore their interests, and understand the wide range of opportunities available in the profession. By creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment, he encourages students to become involved, ask questions, and take ownership of their academic and professional paths.

Impact Beyond the University

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Little has dedicated significant time to supporting students’ professional growth. He actively assists students in securing internships and job opportunities, helping them prepare application materials, refine portfolios, and connect with industry professionals. His mentorship ensures students graduate not only with academic knowledge, but with meaningful real-world experience and a clear sense of career direction.

A Passion for Teaching and Creative Exploration

Beyond his classroom and mentorship work, Little serves as faculty advisor to AAF UA, Girls Club, Grow the Game, the UA EcoCar Challenge Communications Team, UA Esports, and Students for Epilepsy Support and Education. In these roles, he supports student leadership, organizational development, and experiential learning opportunities that extend beyond coursework. His involvement strengthens students’ professional networks, enhances leadership skills, and fosters meaningful engagement within the university community.
