The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is currently seeking enthusiastic externs for the 2025 event! Externships provide an excellent, hands-on opportunity for college students looking for valuable and experiential learning at one of the largest music experiences of the summer!

What To Expect:

This externship program is a paid and immersive experience for college students. Paid compensation for externs is set at $10/hr with a maximum of 12 hours/day. Available positions cater to a diverse range of interests and skill sets – past positions included working within departments such as:

  • Festival Administration
  • ADA Accessibility Program
  • Sustainability Operations
  • Credentials
  • Media Operations & Logistics
  • Festival Volunteer Program Management
  • VIP Operations

On-site camping-style sleeping arrangements will be provided throughout the program. On-site meal arrangements will be provided throughout the program.

Externs must supply their own belongings, including but not limited to: laptops, sleeping equipment, and personal items. Transportation to and from Manchester, TN (aside from the staff shuttle between site and BNA arranged by you and the extern coordinator) is not provided or compensated.

On-site start dates vary depending on the needs of individual positions within departments.

Start date can be as early as June 8. Minimum availability of June 10 – 15 is required to apply.
