The Alabama Wildlife Federation is offering four unique internship opportunities for students and young professionals to gain experience in print and digital marketing:
- Project #1: Format & Design a 24-page Habitat Learning Lab Planning
Guide that explains step-by-step how Kindergarten-12th grade schools can create
an AWF Habitat Learning Lab for hands-on outdoor learning opportunities for their
students using AWF’s free resources.- 30 hrs, $750 Stipend
- 30 hrs, $750 Stipend
- Project #2: Create a Social Media Plan for the AWF’s Habitat
Learning Lab Program including strategies to publish content on multiple
platforms, a schedule for publishing content, a detailed plan of how to post
different types of content, and templates for drafting posts including caption
examples per topic and type of post.- 20 hrs, $500 Stipend
- 20 hrs, $500 Stipend
- Project #3: Create Marketing Resources for the AWF Junior Wildlife
Scientist (JWS) Program including a slide deck presentation, a testimonials
flier, a 3-panel table-top display for tabling at conferences, and a proposal for how
to gather metrics and track engagement.- 20 hrs, $500 Stipend
- 20 hrs, $500 Stipend
- Project #4: Format & Design an 8.5”x11” Trifold Brochure for the Junior
Wildlife Scientist Program that explains the program and the benefits of the
program for teachers and students.- 10 hrs, $250 Stipend
Note: AWF staff will provide all text, photos, logos, educator testimonials, or other
materials as needed for each project. All four internships will be completely remote.
