The 2026 Universal Music Group Summer Internship application is now open! This opportunity is designed to identify and develop the next generation of music industry leaders and creatives through immersive, hands-on experiences with participating labels and businesses across UMG.
2026 Summer Internship Program Dates: June 8 – August 14, 2026
Salary Range: $15-$25 per hour

Internship Locations (depending on position) Include: California, Florida, New York, Tennessee, Washington D.C., & Pennsylvania
Program Eligibility:
- Currently enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college/university in the United States, pursuing an undergraduate, graduate and/or law degree
- Graduating between Spring 2026 – Fall 2028
- Have access to housing and transportation within the designated city (We do not offer housing or transportation accommodations)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future (e.g., H1-B, OPT, etc.)
- Commit to 20 – 40 hours per week (based on individual business area)
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Have strong organizational skills and efficiency
- Show ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in fast- paced, high-pressure environments
- Embody a high level of integrity
- Maintain discretion in handling confidential information
- Maintain professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company
- Always have a “can-do” attitude
- Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Be a self-starter
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be eager to learn
