The Holle Center for Communication Arts invites undergraduate students to apply for internships for the 2026-27 academic year. Applicants should be creative thinkers, self-starters, motivated to take initiative to move projects forward, and able to work in support of and represent the Holle Center mission. This internship gives students an opportunity to explore being a project leader, innovator, organizer, communicator, and collaborator–all roles that are critical to any organization. In this internship, students will gain hands-on experience in a professional environment focused on innovative storytelling. Interns will take the lead on student-centered projects, participate in community engagement events, and collaborate with Holle Center staff to amplify stories that bring people together.
Ideal candidates will have one or more of the following skillsets: strong writing and storytelling skills, experience with graphic design or design programs, formatting, page layouts, illustrating, web page graphics, and social media promotion or experience with videography, sound equipment, and editing. Students will further develop their professional writing skills by assisting with newsletters and promotional materials that highlight the mission and vision of the Holle Center. This internship is an opportunity to develop pieces for your portfolio through the creation of web and social media graphics, posters, handbills, brochures, and other graphics and through developing video and podcast projects.
The Holle Center for Communication Arts is an international, interdisciplinary hub for storytelling whose mission is to support creative activity and scholarship that advances human dignity, breaks down barriers and encourages collaboration and empathy.
The internship commitment is August 19, 2026-April 30, 2027.
Applications are open to UA undergraduate students from February 23 – March 24, 2026.
