The Wilbert Group invites two rising seniors to join our team and gain hands-on experience contributing to real client work at a fast-paced, collaborative PR agency this summer in Atlanta, GA. Applications close Wednesday, May 13.
Public Relations Intern
We are seeking an ambitious, hardworking college student for our paid, full-time summer internship program. The Wilbert Group is a full-service public relations, digital media and content firm based in Atlanta with a national reach. We work with clients in real estate, professional services, the nonprofit sector and other industries.
The ideal candidate is a rising senior working toward a degree in PR or a related field. We are looking for someone who is a strong writer, knows how to juggle multiple tasks, has the ability and willingness to quickly learn our clients’ businesses and enjoys being part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Write first drafts of media alerts, press releases, LinkedIn posts and other PR materials
- Utilize Muckrack and other search tactics to build media lists
- Adopt internal processes, including time tracking
- Help pitch the media and begin to build relationships with journalists
- Take thorough notes and help update project trackers before client calls
- Create monthly reports using our tools/software
- Learn our clients’ businesses and read the news that’s important to them
- Monitor the news and industry trends that impact our clients
Perks
- This is a paid internship at $12/hour, 40 hours/week, from June 1-July 31, 2026
- A hybrid schedule with three days in our Buckhead Atlanta office and two days work from home (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
- Summer Fridays – office closes at 2pm

Digital Intern

We are looking for someone who is a strong writer and content creator, knows how to juggle multiple tasks, has the ability and willingness to quickly learn our clients’ businesses and enjoys being part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Write first drafts of posts for Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
- Attend client events and content shoots and gather photos/videos
- Create social-first content, such Reels and simple graphics
- Use our tools/software for scheduling content, monitoring, etc.
- Adopt internal processes, including time tracking
- Take thorough notes and help update project trackers before client calls
- Learn our clients’ businesses and monitor relevant industry trends
