Description

Role: Proficient in all aspects of video production (planning, storyboarding, video and sound recording, editing and producing tools, and creating video packages that help elevate all departments internally and externally).

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Designs, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions.
  • Storyboard and develop high quality, creative videos for web, emails, social content etc. that are visually appealing and on-brand. The ability to shoot video and quickly edit for a great final product.
  • Implements project vision in post-production through creative editing, audio, and animated motion graphic design.
  • Attend company-related community and internal events to collect content (ability to work confidently, identify ideal content in the moment and engage with the public is a must).
  • Self-start, manage, and quickly conceptualize stories for videos according to department needs.
  • Research stock footage and stock photo elements for production and video needs.
    Source and edit music with appropriate tone, timing, and rhythm.

  • Successfully complete all assigned responsibilities within designated timeframe with zero unresolved errors according to established department standards
  • Provide informed, prompt, professional, accurate service and support to all members and associates.
  • Ensure all forms of department communications are accurate, timely, and within budget guidelines.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned credit union market share, assets, loans, and other product/service objectives as stated in the current business plan.
  • Assist in achieving the credit union’s growth objective with respect to new sponsor groups.
  • Maintain and increase current marketing knowledge and proficiency through professional literature and educational programs.
  • Assist department manager in providing direction and recommendations to management, based on current research data, regarding market strategies and directions the credit union should take.

Knowledge & Skills

Experience

  • One year to three years of similar or related experience.
  • A background in Corporate Marketing is preferred.
  • Experience in graphic design is required. (4) Experience with Canva is highly recommended.
  • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current video equipment and current video software recognized as industry standards (Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut Pro 7, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Soundtrack Pro, Motion).
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube).

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree, or
  • Achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

  • Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have high standards regarding the quality of internal and external facing communications.
  • Positive attitude, detail, and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.

Other Skills

  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
  • General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach.
  • Strong video content skills including creating Reels, Stories and YouTube videos.
